Annual Fire Safety Statement Compliance — Emergency Lifts

Emergency lifts are a critical component of a building’s fire safety strategy and must be maintained and tested to ensure they remain capable of performing their intended function during an emergency.

CMG Elevator Management provides independent inspection, testing and assessment of emergency lifts to assist building owners, strata managers and fire safety practitioners in meeting the requirements applicable to the Annual Fire Safety Statement (AFSS).

Our assessment focuses on the operational performance, emergency functions and associated safety provisions of the lift installation, identifying defects, non-compliances and items requiring rectification.
